Bu çalışmanın amacı politik karar alma sürecinde oylama gücünün ekonomik büyüme üzerindeki etkilerini incelemektir. Bu amaçla çeyreklik dönemi verileri kullanılarak panel veri analizi ile incelenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre döviz kuru oynaklığından finansal sisteme doğru nedensellik ilişkisi tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca bulgular literatürü destekler nitelikte olup döviz kuru volatilitesinin finansal sistemde hareketlenmelere neden olduğunu göstermektedir.
